A CAR was completely destroyed by a fire in Whitchurch on Tuesday night, firefighters have confirmed.
One crew from the town was sent to Mill Bank Road at 10.30pm after reports of a car on fire and that it had spread to a nearby hedge.
A Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesman confirmed that the car was completely destroyed.

They added: “This incident involved one car which was 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
“It also affected hedgerow while crews used two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at nearly 11.05pm to confirm that no further help was needed.
