THE latest donation made by a Whitchurch group to the town's foodbank has been announced.
The Inner Wheel Club of Whitchurch has donated more than a tonne of food to the Bargates Hall-based foodbank over the last decade.
Club spokesman Tricia King said the latest donation was to mark the clubs’ international 100th anniversary.

She said: “Nearly 1.5 tonnes of food has been donated to Whitchurch Foodbank by the Inner Wheel club of Whitchurch over the last 10 years.
“The latest contribution was the 117 food items collected by members to mark the international centenary of the worldwide network of Inner Wheel clubs.
“The Whitchurch president Sue Fawcett and member Hazel Nimmo were able to go to the foodbank with manager Alan Scutt and present it.”
