A PUBLIC meeting regarding the decisions to be made around Whitchurch Civic Centre will be in the market hall today at 2pm.
The meeting, to be held in the Market Hall – the only currently open and available space within the Civic Centre setting – will start at 2pm.
Mayor Councillor Andy Hall will chair and open the meeting while Shropshire Council’s director of place Mark Barrow will also be there, alongside Helen Morgan, North Shropshire MP.

A spokesman for Whitchurch Town Council said: “The meeting will now also be attended by Mark Barrow, Shropshire Council's Executive Director of Place, who will be on hand to explain the background, context and next steps.
“Whitchurch Town Council will host a Public Meeting / Drop-in at 2-3pm this Saturday regarding the proposals for Whitchurch Civic Centre, ahead of the forthcoming Shropshire Council Cabinet Meeting on January 17 – next Wednesday.
“Chaired by Whitchurch Mayor, Cllr Hall, it will be an opportunity for you to put your comments to our local Shropshire Council representatives, so that they may be presented at their meeting.
“Helen Morgan will also be in attendance to hear views on this very important issue for our town and it's future development.”
The council added that it plans to live stream the meeting through its social media channels.
