SOMETIMES, there is not much to do on a sleepy Sunday.

But on Sunday, August 13, Whitchurch will be playing host to a number of cuddly kittens with the aim of raising money for a charity.

‘Kitten Cuddles and Cake’ will be at Whitchurch Civic Centre from 10am until 4pm and is available for free entry.

The day is in aid of the Cat Assist Team Whitchurch (CWAT), which rescues and rehomes cats in the area, and will be providing kittens for people to meet and greet.

A CWAT spokesman said: “We are also hoping to bring our lovely Sanctuary cats Arnie and Emba along too, if they feel up to it on the day of course.
