FIREFIGHTERS were called to a one-vehicle collision which closed the A41 between Whitchurch and Chester on Friday night.
One crew from Malpas was joined by colleagues in Chester at around 11.10pm near Broxton after reports of the crash.
A Cheshire Fire spokesman said firefighters were called to help one person trapped in the vehicle.

They said: “Crews were called to reports of a road traffic collision on the A41 Whitchurch Road near Broxton, which involved one vehicle.
“One person was trapped in the vehicle and they were released by firefighters and handed over to paramedics.
“The road was closed in both directions by attending police officers while the incident was being dealt with.”
