Officers from North Shropshire Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) posted on X – formerly Twitter – on Friday to say they had taken the car into possession after someone had reported it where it had been abandoned in Ash, near Whitchurch.

“Upon our arrival it was also confirmed to be on cloned plates.”
