A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating a large cannabis amount in Wem town centre.
Officers from the Shropshire Local Organised Crime Team, Neighbourhood Crime Fighting Team and North Shropshire SNT conducted a warrant in Crown Street at 11am this morning (Tuesday, September 26).
They found a large amount of cannabis and arrested a man on suspicion of cultivating the Class B drug.

PCSO Jamies Robinson said: "A number of cannabis plants were seized from the address and a man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis, he remains in police custody whilst enquiries continue.
"You can help us deal with drug crime and the associated anti-social behavior that goes with it.
