POLICE say enquiries into anti-social behaviour in Wem at the weekend are ongoing after residents heard loud bangs in the town.
Officers from West Mercia Police were called to a disturbance on the High Street in the early hours of Sunday morning after residents reported hearing loud bangs.
One resident on social media compared the noises to the sound of gunshots but other residents reassured them it was bins being kicked over.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police confirmed that they were called to the incident.
