Whitchurch Town Council confirms Waymills closure and diversion (Image: Radar)
A ROAD closure in Whitchurch has left motorists facing a two-mile diversion.
Waymills is set to be closed for two weeks of essential works, starting yesterday (Wednesday, July 26) and ending on Wednesday, August 9.
The works will include the placement of new apparatus within the street.
Whitchurch Town Council gave a reminder to residents ahead of the work.

A signed diversion will be in place redirecting traffic via the Whitchurch Bypass.
Delays are likely to form during this time.
