A brand new cocktail/wine bar and cafe is set to open in Whitchurch today (Monday, May 29).
Feral will be opening at 35 Green End in the location of the old barbers.
The new venture is owned by Joe Stark and his partner, Niamh Neary.
Joe and Niamh have worked in the hospitality industry for many years, but this will be the first business they have run.

Joe said: "We are looking forward to it, it has been a bit stressful. We moved up here because I was working at [Whitchurch restaurant] Wild Shropshire.
"We moved up from Birmingham and have been living in Wem for six months. Then in just the last two weeks, we have moved into Whitchurch.
"We have moved house and opened the business all at the same time.
"This is the first business of our own we have both opened."
People in Whitchurch have already been contacting the couple showing their interest in the new business.
The couple first became interested in Whitchurch after a visit to Alderford Lake.
Joe explained: "It was a bit of a coincidence really. We popped up to go to Alderford Lake last June and we popped into Whitchurch for some food and we couldn't get a table in Etzio.
"We looked around and thought it is a nice little town. The owner of Wild Shropshire put out an advert and I thought I might as well consider talking to him.
"I started working in Wild Shropshire and we started looking for somewhere to open our own place."

Joe explained that the bar will be a cafe by day and then a wine and cocktail bar by night.
He said: "During the day time we will be offering brunches and coffee and drinks. Then in the evening will be offering natural wines and cocktails.
"On Monday, we will be doing a launch party. We will have tacos, nachos and we have got some margaritas. That will be from about 1pm until 6pm to 7pm."
