POTHOLE complaints were raised when members of Wem Town Council met last night (Thursday, April 27).
Wem resident Oliver Richardson took the opportunity to raise the issue of the state of the town's roads during the meeting which took place in Wem Library.
Mr Richardson said he has already raised the issue of a particular pothole with Shropshire Council, but also said it had not been fixed.

He said: "Give it another four years and we won't have any potholes. The road level will just go down.
"There was one pothole just round the corner from Soulton Road. The hole is four inches deep.

"I thought I would report it. Shropshire Council was informed in February and it is still there.
"It [the council] hasn't done a thing."
