A LORRY was stuck on the A41 roundabout near Prees as snow started falling heavily in the Whitchurch area.
The weather conditions in north Shropshire are causing disruption on the roads with black ice being reported between Newport and Whitchurch.
The Shropshire Operational Patrol Unit is warning drivers to be very careful on the road.

In their Twitter thread they said: "Snowing heavily in Whitchurch now.
"Remember to turn lights on and drive appropriately in these challenging conditions."

They also reported that a lorry got stuck on the roundabout on the A41 at Prees.
As temperatures dropped below freezing this week and the Met Office has put in place a warning of snow and ice, in place since Wednesday, January 18.
They have now extended the warning until tomorrow, Friday, January 20, at 10am.
