A NORTH Shropshire farm has agreed to sponsor the kit for a local football team.
Steve and Claire Jones from Winston Farm in Tetchill, near Ellesmere, stepped forward to support the Oswestry Lions Boys and Girls Football Club's Under-13s side.
The pair said they are "very proud and happy" to sponsor the community club which gives children the opportunity to train and play football at grassroots level.
Coaches Adam, Gary and Ian from the club said they are thankful to Steve and Claire for all their help, and also to Andy Poole and his team at Macron Wrexham, who supplied the kits.

"The kit will last the team for approximately two years and have the opportunity of some pitch side sponsorship if you wish."
The coaches added: "If you wish or know of anyone who would like to sponsor any of our teams please contact our club secretary Simon Owen via our Facebook page."
