Wem Athletic welcome Wem Town Reserves to their Thomas Adams School ground for the first ever meeting.

Joint-manager Sam Northwood relished the derby clash and hoped football fans would make the trip and make the game an occasion with the match kicking off at 10.30am on Sunday, November 5th and sponsored by Ashgrove School Of Motoring.

He said: “Through speaking to the relevant people, we have been told that this will be the first game between two clubs called Wem since the mid 1970s.
