THREE schools in villages around Whitchurch have entered into a collaboration for the 2023/24 academic year.
Bronington Primary School, in Bronington, has entered from September into a collaboration with two other local schools – Borderbrook in Tallarn Green and St Paul’s in Iscoyd, under the guidance of headteacher Emma Jones.
Mrs Jones says that she is looking forward to welcoming pupils, new and old, back to the school.
She added: “With our four acres of wonderful, child-centred grounds, breakfast and after-school clubs providing wraparound care, and dedicated teaching team – not to mention our absolutely buzzing Bumblebees preschool – we already have so much to offer.
“And still I know there’s more to come.”

Mrs Jones is joined on the teaching team by two highly-experienced new full-time staff members, Teacher-in-charge Louise Davies and Key Stage 2 teacher Millie Jones, alongside current Years 2 and 3 teacher Rhian Farley.
A school spokesman added: “To complement the new-look teaching team a number of new faces have also joined the governing board.
“Parents and pupils can look forward to some exciting announcements and developments as the coming year unfolds.”
