A FIRE in the open in St Martins resulted in call out to fire crews from Ellesmere, last night, July 28.
One appliance was mobilised to Sodylt Bank, in St Martins at 9.30pm after reports of a fire in the open.
A hosereel jet was used by firefighters to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service explained: “The fire involved a broken wood and pallets in rear garden, and was extinguished by fire service personnel.”
A stop message, confirming no further assistance was needed, was sent out to control at 9.57pm.
