WHITCHURCH Young Farmers Club (YFC) members said they were pleased that a charity tractor run over the Easter weekend was supported by people in north Shropshire.
The tractor run took place on Saturday, April 8 and the club will be using the funds to raise money for Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal based in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital and Hope House Children's Hospice near Oswestry.
The starting and finishing point of the event was in Withymoor Farm and the route was around Whitchurch and the surrounding area and the tractors were driven into Wales and Cheshire.
There were 40 tractors and club secretary Isobel Stone was pleased with the support from local people and because the money raised will help charities in Shropshire.
