Four players from Wem Cricket Club were selected to represent the Shropshire County Cricket League (SCCL) in a showcase fixture on Sunday.
Alex Ollerenshaw, Ralph Davies, Abhishek Reddy and Sam Peate were part of the SCCL Select XI that played against the Shropshire County Cricket Club (SCCC) Academy XI.
Wem wicketkeeper, Harry Chandler, was also chosen to play for the academy side.

A statement from Wem Cricket Club said: "Fantastic news for Wem CC to have had four of our first eleven selected to play for the SCCL select team and our first team wicket keeper selected for the SCCC Academy XI.
"We are incredibly proud of our Wem boys and it is brilliant to see their hard work, talent and dedication to the club appreciated!"
The SCCL Select XI won for the third consecutive year, posting 255-7 from 50 overs before bowling out the academy for 252 with one ball to spare.
Ollerenshaw and Davies took two wickets each, finishing with figures of 2-49 and 2-39 respectively, while Reddy bowled economically for 0-28.
Chandler was a standout performer for the academy side, scoring 94 runs.
Peate contributed 15 runs for the SCCL Select XI in their winning effort.
The fixture is an annual opportunity to showcase emerging cricketing talent in Shropshire.
