ZAK VYNER misses Saturday's game against Stoke City at The Racecourse through injury while Ben Sheaf still won't be involved after suffering a setback.
Wrexham are seventh in the Championship, four points behind Hull City who occupy the final play-off place.
There are four games remaining and it appears Sheaf is not closing in on a comeback.
Sheaf suffered a medial ligament knee injury in the 5-3 Championship win against Ipswich Town at The Racecourse on February 21 and Reds' boss Phil Parkinson said at the time that the midfielder would be out for ten weeks, fearing his season was over.
But although he was making good progress, Sheaf still hasn't returned to full training while winter transfer window signing Vyner has a groin problem and winger Nathan Broadhead is also a doubt for the clash with the Potters, although Matty James is available after returning to action following a broken toe.
"Matty's fine, he was never going to play more than 60 minutes at the weekend (a 2-0 defeat to Birmingham on Sunday)," said Parkinson.
"Ben is still not with us on the training pitch. He has had some training, but he's had a minor setback.
"Broady's got a bit of a tight hamstring so we're just going to review that up to the weekend.
"Zak's got a rescan on his groin tomorrow so he won't make the weekend. He's feeling a lot better, but that'll be too soon."
