Only Mohit Kale (27), Craig Heath (13), Chris Peel (19) and Tom Astley (18) managed double figures as Ashley Newfield (5-20), Gareth Williams (2-17) and Mark Evenson (2-19) struck to complete Wem's demise for just 82.

Defending such a paltry total was a daunting challenge for Wem but Andrew Harrison (2-19) struck early to offer hope.

Ben Peel (3-30) caught and bowled Newfield for a top scoring 39 with Dan Cohen (1-18) and Kale (1-12) also claiming wickets to leave Greg Chinn (16no) and Bromsgrove 81-7 and the match drawn.

Maisam Jaffri (19) and Elliott Brown (21) laid foundations in reply before Andy Jones (16no) and Mubeen Rashid (19no) formed an unbroken third wicket stand to guide their side to 77-2 and victory inside 14 overs.

Meanwhile Ellesmere's clash with Montgomery in division two was cancelled.

Wem IIs were emphatic 82 run winners at Welshpool in division three with Harry Astley (46) and Sam Peate (35no) inspiring their side to 140-5 to defend.
