WEM Town Football Club is pressing ahead with plans for the future.
The West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division club could be bumped up the English non league pyramid as part of a national restructure.
It is hoped it could mean the Butler Sports Centre club could benefit and join Shropshire rivals Ellesmere Rangers, St Martins and Whitchurch Alport at a highers standard.
A club spokesman said: "The first team are looking to make additions to their coaching staff.
"With the restructuring looking like happening, North West Counties experience or knowledge would be preferred."
