WHITCHURCH Alport'ss recent turn in form continued on Saturday with a 4-0 win over Romulus at Yockings Park in the Capelli Midlands Premier League.

Manager Jayson Starkey was without the services of Aaron Simms, Jacob Edwards, Tom Allen and Tommy McNally so Brad Kiiza and Peter Osei were drafted from the U18s to the match day squad.

It was the in-form Ollie Holden who broke the deadlock after only three minutes when the striker finished well from close range after a great cross from Marques Trowers on the left.

Although the visitors had more of the play in the second half they rarely threatened Jack Sheward's goal.

Holden grabbed his second and the final goal of the game with another cooly placed finish after a curling free kick from Lewis Bloor
