WHITCHURCH Cricket Club has paid tribute to Maz Haisnan following his departure from the club.
The Pakistan-born batsman has joined Shropshire rivals Allscott Heath.
A club spokesman said: "Today, we bid a heartfelt goodbye to Maz, who has decided to leave Whitchurch CC after years of dedication and passion for the game.

"Maz joined us at just 19 years old and brought with him a wealth of experience as a former first-class cricketer in Pakistan. His career included playing for top domestic teams, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
"Maz has amassed an astonishing 19,887 runs on Play-Cricket – a record that speaks volumes about his talent and consistency. Even last season, he added 799 runs to that incredible total."
Haisnan was praised for his contribution and a lasting legacy.
"Maz’s skill, commitment, and love for cricket have left an indelible mark on our club. He has inspired teammates and supporters alike, and his legacy will be remembered for years to come," added the spokesman.
"Thank you, Maz, for everything you’ve done for Whitchurch CC. We wish you all the best in your future endeavours – you’ll always be part of our cricketing family."
