Karabo Mogotsi is making a name for himself at Wem Cricket Club and the Shropshire cricket scene.
The 30 year old from Johannesburg in South Africa has made a huge impact on his club’s fortunes since his arrival with Wem enjoying a stellar start to their Shropshire Premier League season.
Top order batter who can bowl off spin began his career at Gauteng Cricket Club and has built up experience in English cricket over the past few seasons.

A club spokesman said: “Karabo has brought a calmness and stability to the top order, along with a lot of experience from playing at a higher level back in South Africa.
“He has settled in well and living in Wem with two of our members.”
The all rounder has made a fast start to the season scoring 263 runs in just four innings at an average of 131.50 and taking four wickets ahead of Bank Holiday weekend.
Wem currently sit in fourth spot in the table with four wins from their opening six fixtures.
