Fire crews clean up fuel spill in Whitchurch car park

Fire crews were called to clean up a fuel spillage in a Whitchurch car park.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that firefighters were called out to Castle Court Car Park to clean up a spill.

A crew from Whitchurch were sent to the scene last night (July 5) at 8pm.

Firefighters used “Environment Agency equipment” to tackle the spill.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that there had been “reports of a vehicle leaking fuel” and that “crews used soil and an environmental grab pack to soak up.”
