Police responded to disturbance in Dudleston, Ellesmere

Police were called to a disturbance in a village after reports of a man making threats to others.

West Mercia Police confirmed officers were called to the scene of an incident in Dudleston near Ellesmere.

Witnesses reported that an individual was seen on the roof of a building in the village yesterday (July 2) and that officers were spotted at the scene, however this was not confirmed by police.

West Mercia Police confirmed that officers had attended after receiving reports that a man was threatening to harm others.

A spokesperson for the force said they were called "following reports of a disturbance and that a man was making threats to harm others."

They added that no-one else was in the property.
