There have been more reports of criminal damage at a recreation ground in Ellesmere.
Ellesmere Town Council have appealed for more information more holes were dug in Berwyn View Recreation Ground.
This is the second time the ground has been the target of vandals this year after holes were dug into the ground by the pump track in early April.
After the holes were dug on that occasion using a shovel, individuals put "rocks, bricks, and paving slabs" inside them to intentionally act as a hazard.

A spokesperson for Ellesmere Town Council said: “We have received further reports of land at Berwyn View Recreation Ground being dug up.
“Although this may appear harmless, it creates a serious safety risk for other users of the site.
“Parents and guardians are asked to ensure that children do not take spades, wheelbarrows, or similar equipment to the recreation ground.
“Digging on land owned by the Town Council without permission is damage to property and may be treated as a prosecutable offence.”
