Cheshire A41 between Whitchurch and Malpas closed both ways

A STRETCH of the A41 in Cheshire towards the Shropshire border is closed both ways for roadworks.

The road near Malpas is closed from Hampton Heath roundabout to Old Coach Road in No Man’s Heath, according to highways monitoring website Inrix.

Google Maps is showing a complete closure from Malpas towards Whitchurch, meaning traffic could be diverted through nearby Hampton Green to rejoin the A41 close to Tushingham.

Or drivers can use Chester Road into Malpas village.

There is not currently a fixed time for when the road will reopen, either fully or partially.
