Shropshire firefighters tackle tractor fire in Marchamley

Fire crews were called out last night to a fire involving agricultural equipment.

Firefighters from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to Marchamley after reports of a vehicle fire.

Crews from Hodnet were called out at 7.49pm yesterday evening (May 11) after reports of a fire in the open.

When firefighters arrived on the scene they discovered a “fire involving a tractor towed mower”.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that a “hosereel jet” and a “thermal imaging camera” were used as fire fighters extinguished the blaze.
