James Morrison to headline Deva Fest near Whitchurch

A Brit Award-winner has been named as the latest headliner for this year's Deva Fest.

James Morrison will take to the stage at Cholmondeley Castle, near Malpas, on Friday, August 7.

He joins a busy line-up with Ronan Keating, Jessie J, Ash and the Vengaboys already confirmed for the family-friendly event which will run from Thursday, August 6 until Sunday, August 9.

Phil Marston, owner and founder of Deva Fest, told the Whitchurch Herald: "I am delighted to reveal that Brit Award-winning James Morrison is headlining Deva Fest.

"James has sold over seven million records and has an epic songbook which will take our audience from Broken Strings through to You Give Me Something.

"James has one of the most recognisable voices in the industry and it is a real coup to have him agree to perform for our audience."

 James Morrison's breakthrough single You Give Me Something was released in 2006 and reached the UK top five, while his debut album, Undiscovered, which went straight to number one in the UK charts.

He has three further top 10 follow-up albums and won the Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist in 2007.

The award-winning Deva Fest, which was recently named by National Geographic Magazine as one of the best family-friendly events in the country, now has its strongest line-up to date with ticket sales already surpassing those of 2025.

This year's event will once again feature a fairground included in the ticket price, a circus workshop and the chance to walk around the castle grounds, plus Chester Zoo activities and lanterns, a classic car show, silent disco, a daytime rave tent, and new for this year, 'Wonderland' which will immerse visitors in a land of imagination.

Phil added: "Deva Fest prides itself on being a little different to many music festivals with hand-picked street food, fairground rides being included in the admission and VIP toilets being available across the site at no upgrade."
