A WOMAN in her 60s suffered serious injuries following a crash in a supermarket car park.
This happened outside Tesco in Whitchurch yesterday (December 27) at about 4.30pm, when a blue MG ZS struck two pedestrians.
The woman, a pedestrian, was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital with serious injuries.
The other pedestrian, a woman in her 30s, sustained a broken foot.
The driver of the car, a man in his 70s, sustained minor injuries.
Two other parked cars were also damaged during the crash.
West Mercia Police has appealed for witnesses and information.
PC Beech said: “We want to establish how the collision happened yesterday.
"We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed it, or anyone who may have dashcam footage to help with our investigation to please get in touch.”
