An “amazing” owner of a Whitchurch pharmacy is celebrating 30 years of her business.
Ann Coffin who has run the Green End Pharmacy since 1995 will be celebrating a her anniversary with staff today (December 13).
Ann is well known throughout Whitchurch not only for running the pharmacy but for her work in the community as part of Whitchurch Rotary Club.
She made headlines a few years ago for her work with the League of Friends at Whitchurch Hospital which saw her helping the group buy presents for all the patients who would be spending Christmas day in the hospital.
When Ann took over the pharmacy she said she hoped to “provide a traditional environment with the best advice and value for my customers”.

“She has been impressive especially given the challenges we have had recently. Whereas a lot of independent pharmacies have closed. Six out of seven independent pharmacies have closed but Ann has stuck it out.
“She added a gift shop to the pharmacy. She has diversified over the years and created a good business. She is like a woman 20 year younger she keeps herself so nice.
The pharmacy will be celebrating Ann’s anniversary this evening as part of the team’s Christmas party at the Hill Valley Hotel.
