A man has landed himself in jail for a second time after he visited Whitchurch.

Scott Mills breached a criminal behaviour order when he visited the north Shropshire town.

The 52-year-old, of no fixed abode, had committed the same offence in April, leading to an eight-week prison sentence being imposed.

He was brought back to Telford Magistrates' Court early last week after he breached the order again when he visited 28 Castle Street on Sunday, June 15.

Mills was made the subject of the criminal behaviour order by Shrewsbury Crown Court in April 2023.

Magistrates sentenced him to 24 weeks in prison which would be served immediately due to his "flagrant disregard for court orders."

No order for costs was made.
