A WHITCHURCH boxing club has raised more than £15k as part of its Walk Across Britain fundraiser.
Fort Boxing Club set a target of £8k to purchase a new minibus but that original goal has been smashed with a £10k donation bumping up the current total to £15,270.
A club spokesman said: "This is not just by chance - it is a testament to our unwavering commitment and dedication to our community.
"We strive to empower our youth by providing them with the opportunities and life skills needed to thrive in today’s society.

"We are excited to announce that £10,000 has been donated to The Fort Boxing Club towards our minibus, showcasing the immense value we bring as a club."
The club is now targeting £18k to purchase a minibus and cover costs like maintenance, insurance and printing logos.
Fort Boxing Club's March Across the Width of Britain will take place from July 20-23 when a dedicated team of six young boxers, aged 11 to 18, will hike the historic Hadrian’s Wall - a gruelling 84 miles in just four days - to raise funds for a much-needed nine seat minibus.
A club spokesman said: "Our club urgently needs a minibus to provide our young boxers with essential training and educational opportunities. With this vehicle, we can travel for competitions, sparring sessions, and team-building events across the country.
"We would be truly grateful for your support. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal and empowers our youth with opportunities for growth and success."
