A housing development has been recognised for its wildlife-friendly gardens.
David Wilson Homes' Clockmakers development, in Whitchurch, has been given accreditation by the RSPB after the homebuilder, "as part of its corporate partnership," created gardens in line with the RSPB's guidance.
Wildlife-friendly features of Clockmakers include a wildlife pond, hedgehog home, wildflower meadow, bee, bird, and bat boxes, dead wood feature, bird feeding station, herb garden, and water butt.
Helen Lewis, managing director at David Wilson Homes Mercia, said: "With support from our longstanding partner, the RSPB, we're working to create nature-rich developments.
"We look forward to seeing our new gardens flourish with wildlife, and visitors to our Whitchurch development can explore them and gather valuable insights for their own gardens."
Clockmakers offers a selection of traditionally-built three and four bedroom homes with prices starting from £276,000.
The certified gardens belong to the developer’s three bedroom Alder and four bedroom Avondale style show homes at the development.
The homes are currently available for tours.
David Wilson Homes has partnered with the RSPB since 2014.
