A SMALL kitchen fire prompted the call-out of Shropshire firefighters to a Whitchurch address on Tuesday.
Two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) from Wem and Whitchurch were sent to Caldecott Crescent in Whitchurch at around 4pm.
A SFRS spokesman confirmed that while there had been a fire at the property, firefighters were not required to take any action.

“The incident was found to be a small fire in the kitchen involving cooking left unattended. No action required by fire crew.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 15 minutes later to confirm no further support was required at the scene.
