FIREFIGHTERS from Wem were joined by colleagues from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service for a house fire in Whitchurch on Saturday.
One Shropshire and Rescue Service (SFRS) attended the scene in Wrexham Road at around 2pm on Saturday with assistance from a crew from nearby Audlem.
A spokesman for SFRS said that a thermal imaging camera was used but the fire was out before they arrived.

They added: “Crews were assisted by Audlem from our neighbouring brigade Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A stop message was sent to SFRS control at around 2.30pm to confirm no further support was required.
