FIREFIGHTERS were called to the scene of a crash near Chester this afternoon (Thursday, July 11) where one person required medical attention.
Fire engines from Chester and Malpas arrived in Broxton Road near Clutton at around 3.30pm.
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Fire crews attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision. No one was trapped in their vehicle, but one person required casualty care from firefighters until paramedics arrived on scene.
“Police closed the road in both directions while the incident was dealt with.”
The incident has result in heavy traffic in the area, with queues on Broxton Road from the A41 Whitchurch Road to the junction with Hollywell Lane.
