A SMALL kitchen fire at a property in Whitchurch in the early hours of Tuesday was enough for two Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) service crews to be called out.
Two crews from Whitchurch and Wem were sent to Highfields Avenue at around 3.45am after reports of the fire.
A SFRS spokesman said that the crews took action to combat the blaze.

They said: “Two fire appliances were mobilised from Wem and Whitchurch.
“An operations officer was also in attendance.

“The incident involved a small fire in kitchen which was out on arrival of fire crews.
“Crews used thermal image camera and small gear.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control around 15 minutes after arrival to confirm no further support was required.
