IT WAS a steamy Friday for firefighters from Whitchurch after they were called out to a false alarm in the town.
One crew from Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) based in Whitchurch was sent to Mill Street at around 10.53am on Friday.
However, when they arrived, it was confirmed that it was a false alarm because of the steam from a shower.
A stop message was sent to SFRS control confirming no further support was needed at 11.16am.
