FIREFIGHTERS in Shropshire have given advice to a resident after they were called out on a false alarm in Wem.
One crew from the town was called to Lowe, in Wem, shortly before 9am on Saturday morning.
However, a Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) spokesman confirmed no action was needed.
They said: “This incident was a controlled burn and advice was given to the occupier.”
A stop message was sent to SFRS control at 9.25am confirming no further support was needed.
