AN INCIDENT has sparked heavy traffic on a main road in Flintshire this evening (Monday, April 22).
North Wales Police has said that due to an incident on the A5119/Northop Road, through Sychdyn, there is a large build up of traffic.
Police are urging people to avoid the area until further notice.
Google's live traffic maps suggest the incident involves a road traffic collision, that has occurred near Soughton Hall.
Witnesses state that the incident involves an elderly lady who is lying on the pavement at the side of the road. It is unclear at this stage if the incident involved a vehicle.
