Police have sent a warning to parents amid reports of children entering an "extremely unsafe" empty school building in a small Powys village.
Dyfed-Powys Police issued the warning about the boarded up former Coelbren School, near Ystradgynlais, which has been left empty since it closed in 2011.
"Parents please can you ensure that your children are not entering the old school in Colebren," the Ystradgynlais-based team of officers said in a social media post on Friday, April 19.
"This building is extremely unsafe, posing a risk to both the children and any emergency services that may have to attend."
