TWO fire crews were called out to a crash on the outskirts of Chester which led to a section of the main A41 being closed.
Firefighters attended the scene in Whitchurch Road at about 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday, February 25).
A spokesperson for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Two vehicles, a van and a car, were involved in a road traffic collision leaving one casualty trapped in the car.
"Firefighters extricated the trapped driver and four casualties from both vehicles were treated by the ambulance service.
"Police closed the road while the incident was being dealt with.
"Firefighters were at the scene for approximately 90 minutes."
