FIRE crews were called out to reports of a collision in a village near Whitchurch, on the A495, early this morning.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) received a call reporting that a road traffic collision at in Bronington, at 6.49am, on Saturday, January 20.

One fire appliance was mobilised from Whitchurch.

A spokesperson for SFRS said: “Crews were giving assistance to North Wales Fire Service.

“They used thermal imaging camera to deal with the incident.”

A stop message, confirming no further assistance was needed, was sent to control at 7.12am.

North Wales Fire Service have been approached for a comment.
