The former partner of an Ellesmere man who died this week has paid tribute to him.
Wayne Allum, 52, passed away this week, leaving many in the Ellesmere community mourning his loss after a recent difficult period.
Sarah Allum posted on social media through a family friend to pay tribute to her husband, from who she separated from in July this year.

She said: “Dear all, thank you so much for your support over the last few months.
“I never wanted it to end this way.
“I love Wayne with all my heart…something changed in the last 12 months.
“He was a loving husband, dad and grandad.
“The outside influences took over.
“Can you all listen to Coldplay’s 'Fix You' (unfortunately I couldn’t).
“Miss you mate, love always Sarah.”
Rob McBride, from Ellesmere, added on social media: “The tragic loss of our very own Wayne Allum has hit our community hard.
“Such a great bloke, and a real character.

Wayne worked in the building industry and was a keen angler.
