POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary at a home in a village near Whitchurch.

The incident took place on Monday, November 6, at a house in Twemlows Avenue in Higher Heath.

PCSO Jamie Robinson has requested local residents for any knowledge in regard to this case.

In a post on the policing website, Neighbourhood Matters, he said: “We are appealing to the Higher Heath community for information following a burglary at a home on Twemlows Avenue.

OTHER NEWS: 

“It is believed the offender or offenders entered through an insecure door.

“A number of sentimental and valuable items of jewellery were taken from the address.

“Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact us online, quoting incident number 00307_I_09112023.”

He also offered different ways to contact the police anonymously, through the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or by visiting their website.

He added: “ There are some simple, inexpensive and effective things you can do to help secure your home and property.”
