EMERGENCY services freed a person from a lorry after a bridge collision late on Monday night.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out on Monday, November 20, at 10.21pm to Holly Bank in Audlem.
One fire engine was sent to the scene where a heavy goods vehicle collided with a bridge.
A spokesperson from the force said: “Firefighters attended a call to a heavy goods vehicle that had collided with a bridge and gone over the embankment.
“One casualty was released from the vehicle and left in the care of the ambulance service.
“Crews were in attendance for one and a half hours.”
A stop call was sent to control at around midnight, confirming no further assistance was needed.
