A DRIVER was rescued from her vehicle after her car was stuck in flood water in a village near Whitchurch.
Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) were called out to Green Lane in Audlem on Monday, October 23 at around 4.43pm.
A rapid response vehicle and one fire engine from Nantwich were mobilised to the scene.
A spokesperson from CFRS said: “A car was stuck in flood water leaving the driver trapped in the vehicle.
“Firefighters in flood suits and with wading poles were able to rescue her from the vehicle and hand her into the care of neighbours.”
