ANOTHER call to see one of the best cover bands in the UK has been made ahead of their date in Whitchurch next week.

Fleetwood Shack will be coming to the Civic Centre in Whitchurch on Friday, September 8, and will play some of the band’s biggest hits to fans.

Organiser Alan Crowe says Fleetwood Shack are as close to the band’s original sound as any cover act, especially singer Chantelle Stuckey who portrays Stevie Nicks.

He said: “Fleetwood Shack is an incredible tribute band that celebrates the music of the world-famous band Fleetwood Mac.

“This South Wales-based band has performed all over the UK and Internationally in theatres, corporate events, festivals and other top venues.

“Whitchurch concert revellers can see them on Friday, September 8 at the Civic Centre from 8pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm.

“Chantelle's portrayal of Stevie Nicks is a site to behold, and her vocals will blow you away.

“The whole band really does celebrate the original act, the playing and vocal harmonies are top-notch as well.

“Fleetwood Shack covers the entire career from the early days of Peter Green and especially the hit songs like Rhiannon and Go Your Own Way, Dreams, Everywhere plus many more.

“The concert is raising funds for the ENSA Memorial Appeal to commission a lasting memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.”

Tickets are priced at £20 and available from the Civic Centre or from
